Event: 18th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Walkathon

Details: Join Great Strides, raising funds for CF Research and Earn Prizes!
Horses, bikes, runners, walkers and royalty will be at this fun event. Check in 9am, Walk begins at 10am. Food, drinks, snacks, and give aways. This is a prepaid walk.

Event: West Sound Academy Open House for Upper School
Host: West Sound Academy

Details: Come learn about Upper School (Grades 9-12) at West Sound Academy - now a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Visitors will have a chance to get information on WSA's academics and extracurricular activities, meet the Head of School and some of the faculty and students, and take a tour of the campus. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and the evening will wrap up around 9:00 p.m.

Event: 33rd Annual Viking Fest
Road Race
Host: Poulsbo Parks & Recreation
Location: Lions Park
Time: 8:00 AM-11:30 AM
Details: One of the best courses on this side of the water! 5 mile reace begins at 9am. 1 mile race begins at 9:05am. Kids Dashes downtown at 10:15am. Register early! Late registration fees begin May 14th!

Event: ShrimpFest

Details: ShrimpFest is a Memorial weekend seafood festival. We have craft and food booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, children's activities, and so much more. Bring along your favorite decorated belt sander and join the racing fun at 1:00 pm each day. The tides are usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches near the festival (license required), and the weather is traditionally good. This is great family fun, and it's Free too!. Proceeds from ShrinpFest 2010 will be donated to community projects.
