Beautiful Liberty Bay as seen from the west shoreline. In the background, sitting on a hill overlooking the historic downtown and the Port of Poulsbo is The First Luthern Church.

Brief History: Liberty Bay was orginally named "Dogfish Bay". From the early years it has been home to many fishing vessels. For a time it has also housed some fish processing plants.

Today however it's uses are purely recreational and residential. The bay offers 3 marinas to host the thousands of visiting boaters as well as those that enjoy life living aboard in the permanent moorage available.

It is also home to the Poulsbo Yacht Club and the Marine Science Center.
